About our role:

Our client is a leading banking company looking for a talented and passionate individual to join their team as a PR & Communications Manager. In this role, you will further elevate the brand awareness in Belgium, and strengthen the company's association with trading, investing and digital wealth management solutions.

Your main responsibilities: 

• Lead the implementation of all local PR activities. Activities such as: Support for events involving media, proactive media pitching, managing inbound media requests, and ensuring consistency in coverage reporting

• Plan, create, publish and share new content that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members

• Collaborate with local and global teams to develop social media campaigns

• Support major launches and key events

• Ensure the bank is well-positioned in the media and the company appears in key media titles.

• Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to the manager

• You will be reporting directly to the Local Head of Marketing as well as to the Global Head of Communication and PR.

• Work in close collaboration with the HQ Communication team to localise global PR strategy

• Drive local engagement on internal communications channels and initiatives, and contribute towards building a positive culture in the office 

What you bring:

• Ambition to further develop your career in PR and communications.

• Previous experience as PR manager or in a similar role

• Media relations experience 

• Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English, Dutch and French.
